Our expertise in Phalaenopsis is known worldwide and our breeding processes focus on strong external and internal qualities.

Anthura Split, with its pink flowers and warm yellow lip, brings sunshine into your home! This beautiful Phalaenopsis is named after Split in Croatia, which is known for its colourful buildings and beautiful sunsets.

Anthura Split

Anthura Lusaka is a beautiful purple Phalaenopsis produces two long spikes on which the flowers are beautifully arranged like a creative work of art. Anthura Lusaka grows vigorously with an upright leaf position.

Anthura Savona will experience pure happiness with this large-flowered Phalaenopsis with its big yellow flowers. The excellent shelf life of over 10 weeks also places Anthura Savona at the top of the yellow segment.

Anthura Savona

Anthura Barcelona rightfully bears this great city name. The Barcelona variety has a lot to offer: a special flower pattern with a striking white lip, plenty of vigour and a generous number of flowers. Thanks to its excellent features, this variety is set to become one of the greatest specialties!

Anthura Barcelona

Anthura Chamonix variety combines the best of all worlds: wine-red flowers, suitable for all pot sizes, vigorous and an excellent vase life! This makes it a welcome addition to the small-flowered segment.

As its name suggests, Zygopetalum Impasto® Green. A zygopetalum with green petals and a purple lip. A great addition together with Impasto® Blue. The same compact leaf position makes this variety suitable for both 9 and 12 cm pots.

Colourful Anthurium
This year, we’re shining a spotlight on four colourful Anthurium pot plants. These impressive varieties stand out because of their colour, size and quality have been chosen as favourites.

In Maori, the language of the native New Zealanders, the meaning of Aroha is love. This is behind the name of this lovely pot Anthurium Aroha® for small pots. The flowers have a strong red colour that hardly fades at all in older flowers. Its lovely look is long lasting, confirmed by the excellent results of the shelf life test at Anthura. This makes Aroha an outstanding performer that can serve many markets.

Aroha®

Banderola® cannot be compared to a traditional Anthurium pot plant. In short, a variety in a completely new segment. Indeed, Banderola is the segment for ribbon-flowered Anthurium pot plants.

Banderola® Cava is in the ribbon-shaped pot Anthurium segment. The white variant in this new series sparkles with effervescence and freshness. The Cava designation is highly appropriate: this plant fizzes like the sparkling wine of the same name. With its exuberant flowering of white, upright flowers and pointed leaves, Banderola® Cava is unlike a traditional pot Anthurium. In short, a variety in a completely new segment in pot Anthuriums.

Banderola® Roja is the ribbon-shaped pot Anthurium segment. Banderola® Roja is the red variety in this new series, which stands out for its large number of flowers per plant and exuberant flowering. The ribbon shape of the flowers is eye-catching and clearly adds value. Several shades of red are available in this series.

Banderola® Lava
Banderola® Lava is in the liguliflorous pot Anthurium segment. Banderola® Lava has a warm sensation, and the tone-on-tone colourway of the flower and bract enhances that feeling. The name Lava was chosen for a reason. This red variety stands out for its large number of flowers per plant and exuberant flowering. Several shades of red are immediately available in this new pot Anthurium segment.

Lipa® Pink Mini is a compact plant, with an abundance of cute little white/pink flowers, immediately appeals to the imagination. This cheerful variety has an attractive look. ‘Love is on my lips’.

Lipa® Pink Mini

Lipa® Pink Mini is a rock solid performer in the retail chain, withstanding transport from 4°C (48 hours). This cheerful variety appeals to a wide audience with its contrasting colours, and is available in the small pot sizes. Lipa is the series name for varieties that have a coloured tip at the end of the bracts.

Livium® Orange is an extension of the colour palette. The white veins are clearly visible on the bright orange flowers. Livium Orange is especially suitable for growing in 12 cm pots, but can also be grown in 9 cm pots.

Livium® Orange

Spicy: this is the best way to describe Picanta® Red, thanks to its dark coloured spadix and warm red flowers. Its spicy appearance, combined with the dark green, glossy leaves, adds to the variety’s appeal.

The large leaves and flowers make Querida® a sturdy plant. The striking red colour of the large flowers, which are copious and well distributed, combined with the compact plant structure and glossy presentation, ensure customer “stopping power”. Colour fastness, cold tolerance in the transport phase, and leaf quality are all good. Querida is thus a guarantee of long-term enjoyment.

Querida®

Tiora® is a good example of a newcomer that is specially bred and ideally suited for the smaller pot sizes. The profusion of small, red flowers combined with the small leaves is perfectly balanced. In warm climates, Tiora also retains its colour well.

On-trend cut Anthurium
Anthurium cut flowers are gaining in popularity. They are getting stronger and stronger, more resistant to heat and cold, last for a long time, and come in countless shapes, sizes and colours. As a result, there is something for everyone. This year we are paying special attention to the newcomers Fortezza® and Reina®.

The green-red colourway of Fortezza® gives this flower a powerful look. The predominance of green makes the flower suitable for use in many colour combinations, while the shape and colour combination makes Fortezza ideal for use in both bouquets and arrangements. The ability to produce longer stems, production figures of over 100 units per square metre, and a verified cold tolerance at 7°C make this cup-shaped flower a must-have for growers and florists alike.

The flowers of Reina® are straight on the stem and rise high above the crop. This reduces the chance of flower damage when harvesting. The flat position of the flower in relation to the stem also makes Reina easy to pack in a box. This bright white cut Anthurium is also cold tolerant at 7°C and hardly ever incurs transport damage. All these features make Reina a desirable addition to the range.
