Recently the Myplant & Garden trade show took place at the Fiera Milano in Italy, the most important business-to-business trade fair for the ornamental plant sector in Italy. More than 600 exhibitors presented and promoted the entire chain to some 18,650 visitors, with a wide range of products, workshops, innovations and unique solutions.
Wednesday was dedicated to florists and wedding planners. Anthura supplied Anthurium cut flowers for the ‘wedding square’. Dini Holtrop, Dutch Champion in Floral Design, created beautiful bridal pieces in different styles. She used the varieties Extase®, Cheers® and Grand Slam®. A great way to bring our cut Anthuriums to the attention of Italian florists. The creations were then extensively photographed for the bridal magazines White Sposa and Real Weddings. Thanks to the different flower sizes there are countless possibilities for their use, such as in bridal bouquets, corsages, table centrepieces, and decorating.
Mareen Bogerd (Manager, Marketing & Product Management, Anthura) and Hans Prins (Account Manager Anthurium, Anthura) visited the show, where Anthurium and Phalaenopsis pot plants were also represented by products from our Dutch and Italian clients, including Levo Plant, Stolk Brothers, Houwenplant, Amazone Plants, OK Plants, New Phlora di Cuomo, Societa’ Agricola Floramiata, Floricoltura Pisapia SS Agricola and Florpagano.’
Next year’s MyPlant & Garden will be held on 22-24 February.
