Bureau IMAC
Bureau IMAC Bleiswijk BV is an independent consultancy which provides technical and business advice on the cultivation of Anthuriums and Phalaenopsis. The firm’s activities cover both cut flower and pot plant cultivation at home and abroad. The firm is based at the offices of Anthura B.V. This allows a unique exchange of knowledge between Anthura and IMAC.

IMAC’s consultants each have their own specialism:

Ing. André Lont 
General manager of IMAC and is specialist in Anthurium cut flower culture. 

Ing. Albert van Os 
Specialized in the field of Anthurium pot plants and Bromelia. Albert is also responsible for studies on business economical studies. 

Ing. Menno Gobielje 
Expert in the field of Phalaenopsis culture.

Ing. Hans van Eijk 
Is specialist in the field of Anthurium cut flower culture and  also the crop protection.

Ing. Ed Konijn
Is Phalaenopsis advisor and is also the technical climate specialist of the IMAC team.

They regularly visit growers and support practical research. They strive for a better understanding of new developments relating to issues such as cultivation mediums, crop care, crop protection and fertilization.

Technical and business advice on cultivation
The grower receives regular (e.g. once a month or in foreign countries three times a month) visits and the state of the crop is reviewed. Issues such as fertilising, pesticides, climate, crop care, watering etc. are discussed with the grower in detail. Tailored solutions are sought together.

Supervision of study and registration groups
IMAC is succesful in coaching groups of growers. Due to the IMAC coaching the knowledge exchange between growers has improved.

Fertilization
Special fertilization programs are tailored to specific crops (Anthurium and Phalaenopsis) and the cultivation phase. On request of growers Bureau IMAC also carries out fertilization research.
