On Friday November 2nd 2007 Nic van der Knaap, former director of Anthura beat the first pile of the building. An important first phase of a special construction has herewith started.
At the occasion a giant champagne bottle was opened and balloons were released. Next to Anthura employees also greenhouse builder JM van der Hoeven BV was present.
The new greenhouse will be realized at the Cyclamenweg in Bleiswijk and will be finished before the end of 2008.
Constructions
Despite the heavy rain of the past weeks building constructions are continued. A lot of the pilings have been beaten in the ground.
The concrete base of the building was placed in the formwork. In total the new greenhouse will have approximately 2 miles of concrete base. After placing the different concrete bases the first steel can soon be placed. A steel fence is placed.
All the rain water will run through the sky water evacuation and will be collected in a special pump well.
