Dutch Creations official sponsor Interflora World Cup Competition

18-03-2010 | Dutch Creations is proud to announce it is one of the official sponsors of the 13th Interflora World Cup Competition. The Interflora World Cup Competition will take place from Friday 26 until Sunday 28 March 2010, in the Oriental Riverside Hotel in Shanghai (China).

Dutch Creations is deeply committed to providing high quality varieties to all designers taking part in the competition. The sponsorship will include the provision of the main resources of this competition; the floral products, among which also the products of Anthura growers. Dutch Creations is confident that this year’s competition will be a very interesting one with a lot of high quality floral art.

Shared passion
The participating designers have already proven their excellent skills in their home country and maybe even abroad, but becoming the Interflora World Cup Competition champion will be their new challenge. Each candidate has put a lot of effort into being one of the 20 designers accepted for this competition. Some of them have even travelled all over the world in search of inspiration and the products they want to use for this important event. Their inspiration and passion for flowers and plants is shared by Dutch Creations.

As the Interflora World Cup Competition is all about the being the best, it requires the most beautiful products of the highest quality. Dutch Creations will be supplying most of the varieties to be used at the Interflora World Cup Competition. Dutch Creations stimulates young designers and inspires florists with its hundreds of different varieties.

Online exposure
For those who are not able to attend the Interflora World Cup Competition, Dutch Creations offers the chance to follow the performances of the participating designers. During the entire competition Dutch Creations will be reporting live on all the floral art created by the 20 candidates. Their creations will be featured on the Dutch Creations website. This website will not only feature pictures of the floral artworks, but also the specific characteristics of the varieties used by the designers. As well as showcasing into the World Cup, the site also offers year-round inspiration and information to everyone who is in any way connected to horticulture; florists, designers, growers, traders and even consumers.

Dutch Creations People’s Choice Award
During the first preliminary events of the Interflora World Cup Competition, on Friday 26 and Saturday 27 March the participants will also be competing for the Dutch Creations People’s Choice Award.

All the participants are experts in their field and Dutch Creations admires their creativity and skills. We will therefore be awarding a special distinction to the public’s favourite designer. The Dutch Creations People’s Choice Award will be given to the most popular designer chosen by the visitors to the Dutch Creations website. Along with a cup, the designer also receives a travel cheque worth 2.500 euros!

By voting for your favourite designer you could win a travel cheque worth 2.500 euros!
