19-02-2010 | The novelty Lumina® has been chosen for a place on the novelty plaza of the FloraHolland Tradefair in the category ‘Promising Novelties’! From Wednesday 3 until Friday 5 March, 2010 the spring edition of the FloraHolland Tradefair will take place in Naaldwijk. Here also a novelty plaza will exist. The Tradefair Novelty Plaza will show some 60 products in four categories: indoor plants, garden plants, flowers and products with added value. Lumina® belongs to the category of flowers.
At the novelty plaza visitors of the FloraHolland Tradefair will get a survey of the best introductions of the past six months. However, the product must have a clear added value. The cut flowers, indoor plants, garden plants and concepts are processed in beautiful arrangements.
Previous to the show a professional jury will nominate two products per category for 'The Glass Tulip 2010'. This is the prestigious award for the most successful introduction of 2010 and was called formerly the FloraHolland Award. The announcement of the nominated products takes place on the first exhibition day on Wednesday March 3, 2010 around 9.30 in the morning.
The Glass Tulip 2010
Eventually five products per category will compete for 'The Glass Tulip 2010'. A part of the ‘competition’ is already known; these are the products nominated during the Tradefair Aalsmeer 2009. The announcement of The Glass Tulip 2010 takes place on Thursday May 20, 2010.
Digital novelties catalogue
All novelties can also be found in the digital novelty catalogue. In here you will find all novelties shown at the novelty plaza. The attention of the visitors of the Tradefair and of course of the novelty plaza will be drawn to the fact that there will be a novelty catalogue available on the website of FloraHolland shortly after the exhibition.
