Anthurium and Phalaenopsis; stylish, adventurous and with guts for the Greatest Man Award

During a gala night in the Amsterdam Passenger Terminal JFK magazine has presented on Saturday November 21, 2009 the JFK Greatest Man Award 2009.Stylish, creative, adventurous, guts and backbone are a few characteristics the jury examined. We also see these characteristics in Anthurium and Phalaenopsis varieties of Anthura.
For the decoration of the gala, the diner and the club, which had been specially equipped for this occasion, the Anthurium cut flowers Fire® and Spice® were used and the Phalaenopsis cut flower Kobe.

Amid a great public interest Matthijs van Nieuwkerk had been elected as JFK’s Greatest man 2009 in the Amsterdam Passengers Terminal. Matthijs may call himself the most successful, stylish, cool, creative and non-conformist man of the Netherlands who also has guts and drive and who has a great sense of humour.
In the eyes of JFK and the advisory committee, existing of Dutch host Toine van Peperstraten, singer Dinand Woesthoff, designer Eric Kuster, fashion journalist Fiona Hering and JFK general editor Willem Baars Matthijs really is the greatest of the Netherlands.
Ilona Bokma of Flowerfusion has used the varieties of Anthura abundantly in magnificent arrangements that fit in perfectly with the setting of the evening; inspiring. The flowers have been used with thanks to Marcel van der Knaap (grower of Fire®), Kwekerij Ammalutico (grower of Spice®) and Pulcher (grower of cut flower Phalaenopsis KobeP).
