Anthura stand price winner on the Flora 2008

22-12-2008 | In Italy Anthura received the 1e Premio per il miglior stand, the First price for the most beautiful stand on the Flora 2008 in Ercolano. At the exhibition Flora 2008 a lot of new varieties were shown.

Zuidkoop developed an eye-catching stand with beautiful arrangements. The stand was very accessible and approachable which resulted in a high number of visitors.

This year Anthura surprised the visitors with a look into the future, the very newest Anthurium cut flower varieties were shown. The visitors were highly enthusiastic about the many special colours and shapes of the Anthurium cut flowers.

The Flora 2008 was held in Ercolano from the 21st until the 23rd of November 2008. Ercolano is situated in Campanië, the number one of the Italian flower regions. More than 50% of the Italian cut flowers are nowadays produced in the South, the region Campanië as absolute leader.

The in 1962 established sales organisation for cut flowers, Cooperative Masaniello counts 250 members. Thirteen years ago this sales organisation took the First steps towards the organisation of a cut flower exhibition. With 20.000 visitors Flora can be named the meeting place for horticulture and flower trade in Italy.
