20-10-2008 | Floral Movement is an annual event for the Dutch florist in Holland. It is held each year and this year it will be from November 2nd to November 3rd in Home Boxx in Nieuwegein. It is an inspiring exhibition where florists can participate in demonstrations and workshops. The products for this event are from Dutch Creations.The passion for breeding of the Dutch Creations members matches perfectly with this year’s theme: The Passion. All aspects of passion will be shown: passion for flowers, passion for the profession of florist, passion for colours etc.
Inspiration theatre
National and international top designers will surprise the visitors with inspiring floral art. In the inspiration theatre a lot of designers will demonstrate, including Robert Koene, Ueli Signer and Florian Seyd.
Golden Tulip Trophy
Twelve candidates will do their utmost to win this Trophy and the title Dutch Champion 2008. The question is: Who will represent Holland in 2011 at the European Championship?
The value of the varieties of Dutch Creations will come out well at this event. There will be wonderful creations made with Anthurium and Phalaenopsis at the Floral Movement.
Catwalk
On Sunday the candidates for the Golden Tulip Trophy compete and will complete their first two assignments. On Monday they will perform their skills for another three assignments. Every day special floral arrangements will be shown in meantime on the catwalk. In addition at numerous places workshops are given.
Bouquet competition
Nowadays the bouquet competitions have become a tradition. Who will be the master bouquet of 2008? This year’s theme of the competition is an eco-bouquet". Important aspects of an eco-bouquet are recycling material, ecologic awareness, ecological cultivation, packing etc.
Education activities
Monday November 2nd will be in the sign of education. Students will get inspired from 09.00 hours to 14.00 hours and will participate in various workshops.
