23-09-2008 | A lot of exposure for Anthurium at the Alden Biesen flower arrangement happening. A beautiful arrangement made by Annemie Duchateau and Frerenc Kruzslicz featuring  Morano® received a lot of attention.

The designers underlined the beauty of this dark coloured Anthurium cut flower. From September 19 to 22 Alden Biesen, a beautiful country in Belgium was showered with spectacular floral art.

The elongated table was covered with a black glittering table-cloth on top of which red strips of organza were put. The designers put bowls with oasis in them on the table and this bowls were filled with 3 flowers, namely Anthurium  cut flower (Morano®), Rose (Red Naomi!) and Hydrangeas.

The theme of this year's happening was "East meets West". The combination of colours in this master piece was definitively inspired by the East. In addition big lamps provided for an optimal lighting, in which the Anthurium were even more shiny.

Annemie Duchateau is already the third generation florist. According to her the basis of flower arranging remains the same. However, she says, the quality of the flowers improved strongly the past years.

The choice for the flowers used in this arrangement was easy, because both Morano and Red Naomi guarantee a long vase life. Annemie says: ' I really love dark red roses because they have such a rich radiation, especially the Red Naomi! because of its velvet leaves. Further, I adore the flower Morano because of its glow. This is a perfect combination in one festive arrangement of two beautiful flowers.
