Anthura will suprise you at the IPM Germany

16-01-2008 | This year Anthura has a joint booth together with two other Dutch Creations members. The design and presentation of the stand will be surprisingly different.

The IPM (Internationale Pflanzenmesse) in Essen, Germanyr will be held for the 26th time. Each year the IPM attracts well over 57.000 visitors from more than 90 countries. The fair will be held from January 24 until January 27, 2008.

This year Anthura has a collective stand together with two other Dutch Creations members: Kooij & Zonen B.V. (breeding, selection and propagation of carnations) and Fides B.V. (breeding and propagation of among other things cut flowers and pot plants of Chysanthemum, Kalanchoë, Calandiva and Petunia).

You will be welcome in hall 2, stand number 403. The fair is daily opened from 9.00 to 18.00 o’clock.

Anthura will present the following novelties:

Anthura Rotterdam (Phalaenopsis pot plant)
This medium-sized variety draws the attention with its remarkable flower pattern. The pink in the centre of the flower creates a nice contrast with the white on the edges. Rotterdam is a full plant with the two-stems, while the compact variety is also able to produce three-stems. Interesting to know for growers is that this variety grows quickly.

Anthura Darwin (Phalaenopsis pot plant)
This new, white variety for the pot plant culture distincts itself with the orange lip, that makes this product interesting for the trade. This variety has many flowers of 7-8 cm, while the average percentage of two-stems is high with 80%. Besides that, Darwin is an attractive variety with its stem length of 55 cm and its good position and shape of the leaves.

Anthura Cadiz (Phalaenopsis pot plant)
Cadiz is immediately noticed due to its flower pattern. This flower pattern is expressive and has many flowers. The flowers have a size of 9 cm, present on one stem. The stem length of 60 cm and this variety is suitable for the 12 cm pot. The variety is completed with a nice leaf structure and a good leaf colour.

Anthura Singapore (Phalaenopsis cut flower)
Singapore is a light yellow, spotted Phalaenopsis variety for the cut flower culture. The flowers have a red lip, which combines favourably with the light yellow, pink spotted colour of the flower. The flowers are arranged nicely in a beautiful vine, which is characteristic for this product and favourite with the consumers. The production is high: 250 flowers per year / m2 are attainable.

Otazu (Anthurium pot plant)
This pot Anthurium for pot plant culture with its deep brown coloured flowers is a surprise. The colour suits every living room and the plant is very attractive because of its shining flowers that rise nicely above the leaves. The white spadix with the yellow top gives a nice contrast. Otazu is suitable to grow in a 14 cm, 17 cm and 21 cm pot. In short, a promising, chic and trendy addition in the assortment.

Arebo (Anthurium pot plant)
This variety is suitable to grow in a 14 cm en 17 cm pot. With its large, shiny, red flowers with white spadix and yellow top, Arebo will be a pot plant for the future. By its compactness the plant can be marketed in a 17 cm pot as a result of which an extra layer can be put on a Danish container.

Morano (Anthurium cut flower)
Morano has a wine-red hart turning into a brown colour and a dark green, shiny leaf. The flower has a firm, straight stem and a good flower/leaf relation. The vase life has an average of 28 days and a production of 82 flowers per m2 can be obtained. Shortly, a flower that is really worthwhile.

Manaka (Anthurium cut flower)
Manaka has a unique green colour. The combination of the light green colour of the spadix and the dark green of the flower gives a beautiful contrast. The flower has a size of 12 cm and it has an excellent vase life of approximately 48 days. Furthermore she is very suitable for bouquets due to it’s smaller size.
