Anthura presents Great Americans at the TPIE

13-01-2010 | Big flowering, high quality varieties in strong colours can be seen at the Anthura booth. The TPIE is the trade event in the USA for floral, foliage and tropical products. The presentation of the Anthura stand will be surprisingly different.

The TPIE is held from January 14th till January 16th 2010. This year Anthura has a new booth with more varieties and novelties in different pot sizes for pot plant and cut flower culture. We invite you to visit our booth on the TPIE.

Plants with growing medium
As Anthura has a Q37 certification for its greenhouse; it is possible for USA growers to import Anthura young plants in plugs with growing medium. With these young plants the cultivation period for a 6 inch Anthurium pot plant is less than one year.

High quality
Furthermore Anthura breeds young plants under strict hygiene conditions, as strong, healthy plants are important for an optimal start for growers. Anthura’s varieties are tested over long periods of time before they are introduced on the market. Anthura is the first Elite® certified supplier of Anthurium plants.

The Anthurium pot plant is worldwide a very popular house plant. The plant has a lot of flowers, is strong and fits in every interior; classic or modern interiors, solo or several plants in one large pot. Although Anthurium does not need a lot of attention it does give back a large amount of pleasure by flowering almost all year long.

The great Americans; Pandola®, Turenza®, Alabama®, Dakota® and Sumi® are varieties for the larger pot size, they have a lot of big flowers in the colours red, bright pink and white.
