Beautiful Anthura varieties at the Keukenhof rewarded

04-05-2009 | At the Keukenhof the VKC (Permanent Judging Committee) inspected also this year many varieties of Anthura growers. The final results of the VKC-inspection at the Keukenhof resulted in a 1st price and thus award for Cherry Champion®.

During the first inspection of the Anthurium show on March 24 last, the Anthurium varieties already stood an excellent chance. The VKC indicated, when the gave the final results on April 29 last, that Cherry Champion® is a cracker in the segment of Anthurium pot plants. Cherry Champion® was awarded with the 1st award for Anthurium pot plants with the grade 9.55.

Winner 1st award
Cherry Champion® has cherry coloured flowers. It is a plant that is an eye-catcher, with its fresh and clear colours. A striking characteristic of this plant is that the stems are coloured. Besides that the Cherry Champion® is known for its long shelf life. Cherry Champion® is available exclusively at Stolk Plants.

Anthura varieties are in the top 3 of the final results of April 29 last: twice Cherry Champion® and one time White Champion®.

Also the varieties Sweet Champion®, Otazu®, Amis®, Pink Champion®, Vito® and Sierra® were rewarded with the grade 8.80 or higher by the VKC jury.
