Successful FloraHolland Trade Fair

23-03-2009 | From Wednesday March 4 until Friday March 6, 2009, the flower auction FloraHolland organised the FloraHolland Trade Fair in Naaldwijk. The FloraHolland Trade Fair is a popular tradefair where suppliers show their products to exporters, wholesalers and their (final) customers.

Many exporters, wholesalers and (final) customers visited the fair. With a fair surface of 12,000 m² this year they showed an even bigger trade assortment. In fact 400 exhibitors presented a large trade assortment flowers and plants, which can be ordered directly.

Unlimited Colours
This year Anthura showed a large assortment Phalaenopsis and Anthurium pot plants. Under the name Unlimited Colours, Anthura promoted the finished product of it's growers. Especially made supply lists informed traders and exporters about the Anthura varieties grown by growers.

At the fair, Pull Position took care of an attractive presentation of the products of the different Anthura growers. Visitors recognized the Pull Position growers very easily.

Nomination Flora Holland Award
At the Novelty square, more than 60 different novelties were presented. The seven most promising novelties were nominated for the FloraHolland Award 2009. The Anthurium pot plant Lentini Pink® is one of the nominated varieties.

Lentini Pink is especially for the 9 cm pot. Lentini Pink has a happy sweet pink colour, is bushy and has numerous little flowers. It is a very special plant and the first one in the Lentini series.

On June 8, 2009, Flora Holland will announce which variety wins the Flower Holland award.
